William Zinsser on Writing
William Zinsserâs On Writing Well is one book youâll find in every writerâs closet. Packed with great advice on ideating, writing, and how difficult it is to write or create â this book is honest, and if youâre a creator who hasnât gotten their hands on this book yet, itâs time you do.

Instagram Launches a âCreator Media Kitâ for Creators
The thing about Instagram is you can hate it or love it but you simply canât ignore it. Especially with the slew of features it introduces time and again.
This time, itâs a Creator Media Kit, an in-app media tool that intends to guide creators in their creative and business journey. Called a Creator Portfolio, this feature allows creators to build proper business pitches, seek collaborations, and share their profiles directly with potential partners and brands. Itâs like a marketplace, but even better â because Instagram is experiencing a FOMO (thanks to YouTube and TikTok) and fully intends to offer more monetisation options to its creators. đ

Things are changing now â creators are now moving to traditional jobs, thanks to the internet. With a steady demand for social media and content creation roles, brands prefer working with creators as they already know the ropes. Building a brandâs social comes naturally to them. đ„
Liz Flora has written an excellent essay for Glossy on this that you should check out.
